Nichicon Claims To Have Launched World’s Smallest EV Charger

"A company called Nichicon has launched, in their words, the world’s smallest EV chargers, the NGQ-A202 and the NGQ-A302.
The company used advanced module technology, to shrink its electric vehicle charger down by 50 percent to 59 x 13.8 x 23.6 inches. The weigt of te charger was also reduced by 66 percent.
These small 20-30kW chargers will be able to charge the Mitsubishi’s i-MiEV and the Nissan LEAF. The charger can take anywhere from 35 to 60 minutes to fully charger your vehicle.
“The most remarkable point of our newly developed quick charger is that it occupies one half the mounting spaces and is 66% lighter than the current model thereby benefiting the customer by dramatically decreasing installation effort,” according to Nicicon’s official press release for the chargers. “Utilizing our advanced module technology developed for OBC’s, Nichicon can contribute to the development of the “EV charging infrastructure” by offering this compact yet highly reliable device.”
